What can I teach my young kids about swimming?
In our “Parent and Tot” programs, we focus on teaching your child the following:
– How to be safe around water
– How to enter and exit the pool safely

– How to move their arms in a swimming motion
How often should kids take swimming lessons?

Parent and Tot Swim Lessons in Burlington:
Introduce your youngster to the water in a safe and pleasant way! Our curriculum is the first of its kind in Canada, teaching children how to submerge, control their breath, kick on both sides, and swim underwater.
Take your youngster for a relaxing swim in our heated salt-water pool, which they may explore the delights of swimming. We recommend that you begin teaching your young infant to improve their confidence in and around the water at four months old.
Children then graduate to our Swim 101 program.

In our Swim 101 classes, we start with fundamental swimming abilities for youngsters. They’ll learn about self-immersion, breath control, front and back kicks, and freestyle paddling while face down in the water.
The Power Swimr is a device that we use to help our small children build confidence in the water. A frightened youngster is more likely to comprehend things accurately. This gadget adjusts to your child’s skill level by removing foam layers until they are comfortable, providing just enough support for them on their daring leaps of faith.
Children may begin with Swim Strokes 201 if they can swim 15 meters unaided and breathe naturally.

Swim with Swim Strokes 201 can help your youngster from novice to expert swimmer, as well as enhance their competitive or long-distance swimming skills. If your kid enrolls in Swim With Confidence’s 300-Hour Advanced Swim Strokes 301 course, he or she will learn the skills required for competitive swimming or lifeguard training. Students without prior expertise can acquire the muscular memory necessary to master these sophisticated strokes and exercises through constant coaching and specialized training. Backstroke and freestyle swimming are both taught at our center. The goal of this session is to teach them basic skills such as breathing, confidence, and safety.
Children who can swim an 80m individual medley that comprises of 20m each stroke: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly should complete this training.
Kids Lessons | Competitive Swim 101 in Burlington
If you enroll your child in our program and take the Competitive Swim 101 course, they’ll be prepared to compete on a swimming team if that’s what you want to do.
