Would you like to eliminate your fear of the water? Do you want to feel comfortable getting in the pool with family and friends?
Many adults struggle with a fear of the water, whether it’s at the pool, oceanside, or when out boating. This is a natural feeling if you’re an adult who does not know how to swim. Regardless of your age, you can learn!
Learn to swim in a warm, relaxing environment in our one-on-one or semi-private lessons. We will take the time to get to know you, meet you at your level and keep you progressing at your own pace.
We will guide you through learning one small swim skill at a time and before you know it you will be combining these skills to make up a swim stroke! You will learn things like: how the water works, how to move in the water without effort, put your face in comfortably, how to float on your front and back and recover to standing… The confidence and skills you learn will get you off the dock and into the water!
You just might surprise yourself with how far you go! Once you get comfortable with the water, you might start thinking about snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing and so much more!
Are you a triathlete? Is your swim the worst leg of your race? Does the swimming take more energy out of you than it should?
Are you a rescue professional who is getting ready to pass a required swim proficiency test?
Perhaps you’re a good swimmer who just needs a little 1-on-1 coaching to help you with some common swimming challenges such as breath control, streamlining, pacing or flip turns…
We would love to create a progressive, personalized training program just for you! We observe your comfort in the water, listen to your goals and carefully assess your existing skills. Then we work with you to improve whatever is holding you back.
These elements make ALSA the most effective way to improve stroke, skills and fitness while increasing your chances of passing (or acing!) swim proficiency tests.
